These models all originally used the now discontinued BK190 blower, which was a large double cage transflo blower with center mounted motor. The integrated housing on the blower was pitched in an effort to try and direct air flow into a baffle. The challenge therefore with these fireplaces is two fold. First, you may notice a drop down plate below the fireplace that reduces the available height clearance for adding a blower. The plate was originally designed to help direct air flow. Secondly, directing air flow becomes a challenge given the original housing design. In order to retro fit these fireplaces, we'll need dimensions from below the fireplace so we have an idea of how much space we're working with. Pictures will also help.

I purchased an old Lopi Freedom stove from a local estate sale and came with the original blower. Blowers were horribly loud and when I removed them, discovered the plastic wheels were badly warped and one would no longer even spin. Swapped them out with these and couldn't be happier. Ball bearings and metal wheels are a nice addition to them being quiet!
