Builder's 41" B41 series fireplaces. The newer revision B41 circulating models allowed for either the FBK-100 or FBK-200 blower kit, while the older revision models used the #793623 and 793630 axial fan kits. The FBK-100 and FBK-200 blower kits are still available. You can determine if your fireplace uses either of these kits by removing your lower access panel and looking for two flush mounted tabs on the floor of the insert. These tabs secure the blower's bracket assembly to the floor and indicate acceptable fitment of the FBK-100 or FBK-200 blower.

These fireplaces originally used side-mounted blower kit #794501, which installed into a rectangular cutout on the left-side of the fireplace. The blower was suspended in the middle of that opening with a couple of brackets. We're trying to track these brackets down to be re-manufactured, but until we can come up with a more permanent OEM mounting solution, the only way to properly install a blower into these fireplaces is by cutting away or folding the 3/4" bottom lip to allow a blower to be installed against the outer wall. In the meantime, we're using our universal FK15 blower kit with a high temperature wire lead for the thermostat, so that you can mount the thermostat on the top of the fireplace. The brick refractory paneling acts as insulation, so neither the side walls or floor get hot enough for a snap disc sensor to work properly, without mounting it on the top of the fireplace.
