The original FK1 and FK2 fan kits have been discontinued, although we can make some universal fit recommendations for you. These kits used a Molex style connector for power, so if you have the original blower installed, please retain the blower's wiring harness. If the original Molex plug isn't available, you'll either need to hardwire the blower or install a grounded 3-prong outlet for power. To replace the blower only, you'll need #18L46 and transfer the new blower to the original mounting bracket.

Installation of blower requires removal of glass, gas log set and GTA burner assembly. Access to blower compartment is through the subfloor. We make a 100% ball bearing version of this blower kit and mount the blower with magnets vs the original mounting plate used by the genuine LBLK-100 blower.

Rather than installing the blower through the lower access panel, the front glass, logs and gas burner must be removed before installation of the blower. This exposes an floor panel that allows for unobstructed access to the rear wall of the fireplace where the blower is installed. Avalon & Lopi Front Mount Replacement Blower
I purchased an old Lopi Freedom stove from a local estate sale and came with the original blower. Blowers were horribly loud and when I removed them, discovered the plastic wheels were badly warped and one would no longer even spin. Swapped them out with these and couldn't be happier. Ball bearings and metal wheels are a nice addition to them being quiet!
