Our redesigned Buck MA-ZCBB714 blower fan kit assembly for Buck model ZCBB36 and ZCBB42 gas fireplaces and stoves is an improved version of the popular OEM kit.  Features a 100% ball bearing blower with metal wheels to prevent warping, melting and cracking.  Improved high-temperature rated blower extends blower lifespan and improves air flow.  We accomplish this through better motor insulation and higher temperature rated ball bearings, which also makes for an extremely quiet blower assembly! Adding this blower to your Buck fireplace can significantly improve room air circulation and is easily DIY installed, even after the fireplace has been installed.

How to Install the MA-ZCBB714 Blower Kit
  • First remove burner base and logs.  Be sure to turn "OFF" gas supply before disconnecting supply line
  • Remove (10) ten hex-head self-piercing screws that hold down motor cover plate on inner bottom unit.
  • Locate the (2) two wires that come down back of rear air channel from thermostat.  Connect (1) on of thermostat wires to top terminal on ON/OFF switch.
  • Connect black power cord wire to 24" jumper wire provided, then attach jumper wire to middle terminal on ON/OFF switch.  Next connect remaining thermstat wire to (1) one of wires coming from motor.  Connect white power cord wire to white motor wire.  The green power cord wire should screwed to motor bracket as ground wire.  Place blower motor in cover plate opening. Position blower motor into air channel on rear of unit centering blower motor.  it is best to leave about 1/8" space between blower and back of air channel.  This will reduce chance of vibrating or noise.
  • After placing blower motor you must secure it to bottom of unit with two (2) #10 x 1/2 hex washer head self-piercing screws provided with blower kit.
  • Plug power into receptacle and re-attach motor cover plate to inner bottom using screws you removed earlier.
