Blower & Fan Kits - Gas Fireplaces, Inserts & Stoves

These are blower and fan kits designed to fit gas fireplaces, gas inserts and gas stoves.

Distribution & Convection107

Gas fireplaces that allow for the addition of a blower most notably use convection style blowers.  Convection blowers help distribute the heated air a fireplace creates into your living space. Kits are often fireplace make and model specific, so be sure to consult with your owner's manual before purchasing.  If you have questions on compatibility, fitment or installation, please contact us directly and we'll be happy to assist.

Centrifugal19

Centrifugal blowers might look like their squirrel cage counterparts, but the way in which they move air is slightly different.  Often encased in a scroll or shell, several fireplace applications use this design for their ability to draw air into the wheel radially and then move air perpendicular to their intake.

Crossflow & Tangential86

Tangential blowers, otherwise known as crossflow, Transflo® or squirrel cage blowers, are used in a wide variety of gas fireplace applications for their ability to spread air evenly across their entire frame.  Kits are typically application (make, model) specific, but universal and low-profile blowers are available where no specific blower kit option is specified by the manufacturer.  We carry both aftermarket and OEM options, so if you have any questions regarding fitment or installation, please consult with us directly.

Axial Fan Kits2

Axial fans are fans with a series of blades that rotate around a central axis.  These fans aren't widely used in fireplace applications, since axial fans operate best in low pressure non-sealed environments.  Since most gas fireplaces have a sealed enclosure design, centrifugal blowers are used more often.  However, axial fans still play a role in several fan kit applications used today.

Need help finding the correct blower or fan kit for your fireplace? Let our experts help you track down the correct replacement blower, fan kit or part for your application. We typically only need the fireplace or stove's make and model to determine exactly what you need. This information can usually be found on gas fireplaces by removing the lower access panel and finding your fireplace's name tag or identificaton card. Wood inserts will often times have the same identificaton card, while freestanding stoves and others might have this information printed on a rear panel or door.

Once you've located your fireplace's brand and model information, simply use the Find Your Blower tool above, or the Help Find My Blower at the top of the page.
